In the mid 1950s Weber sold a wet fly which I think they simply called a Caddis. It consisted of three sections of fine chenille, (black, white, black) in equal lengths. Recently a friend of mine was showing me some flies his father tied in that era that were very similar and used three sections also, but were, (peacock herl, ivory floss, peacock herl). This older tier was a game warden as well as a fisherman and most of his old flies we recognize but not this one. Can anyone help with it or it's modern day counterpart?
