Thread: Ready for Another One?

Since it seems we are to pick a fly category and a fly for the second largest seller of flies in the US and it is not a "dry fly", I would have to say a streamer of some sort. My first guess might be a spey or salmon pattern being eye-catching but I'm going to say a Muddler Minnow simply because it is so well known.

Since it's in the last 5 years I'll say Copper John...seems to me I even read that some where.

However, if the Royal Coachman held up I suppose it's the Muddler Minnow.

[Yaf, see how I got two in there {G}].

I'm going the same vane as the Royal Coachman for dries, and guess the Mickey Finn. It's a popular streamer that is recognised by the non-fly fisher.

These questions are great, keep 'em coming!

Hare's ear just looks buggy enough, but the woolly bugger is probably easier on beginners. Hmmm...who says the buyer has to know what to do with the fly, my mommy used to tuck a dozen flies in my stocking for years before I learned to tie, and there was always a GRHE in there.

    GRHE it is!

    Prince.

Very pretty. I'm sure fly fishers can't resist buying them.
