    Default Skinning a bird

OK, I've read all of the posts about cleaning fur/feathers and treating them with Borax et al. Done that and had great results.

My question is this - when skinning a bird how do you deal with the wings (that is, how do you sever them from the body - still keeping them integral to the skin but without a lot of flesh remaining)

I've seen some skins that look like they could be mounted after skinning - mine sometimes look like a mini-massacre happened...

Ronn Lucas has a nice description....I'm sure a search on this site would pull it up.
