My wife and I were visiting my son at his college in northern MO this past weekend. I got out for a few hours in 37 degree cloudy weather to fish some stained water for stocker trout.Caught somewhere between 17 and 20-ish Rainbow Trout, one Bluegill, and one Black Crappie.

I was using a microjig. Silver metallic chenille body with grizzly marabou tail caught most. After I caught the crappie a missed/lost some fish that felt larger, I switched to a chartreuse microjig and caught a few more trout. The reason for selecting a microjig was to get the sink rate and the ability to fish the speed I wanted. A lighter pattern would have taken much longer to attain the depth, and would have needed a slower retrieve to stay close to the bottom.
