Fishing 11-16
Went out yesterday to a pond. It is down about three feet. Fished along the dam. For about 12 feet out from the dam the water is only about 3 inches deep. Hooked a lot of fish, but trying to bring them across the shallow water they flipped off.
With a long handled net I might have been able to net a few of them as it took them some time to flip around and get back to deeper water. Landed enough to have a fish dinner and share with a couple of people.
Did land four bass that were around 22 inches long. Used a couple of flies I had not used before.
