Got out for an afternoon of flyfishing. Temps were mid- to upper 60's (nice), sunny, and a bit breezier than I would have preferred, but overall good.Landed 7 Bowfin, 3 Largemouth Bass, a Bluegill, some Green Sunfish, and a few Warmouth.

Thanks! That fly is a DDH Leech (designed by Stu Thompson, this one tied by me), with a bi-color tail. It's been working well on the bowfin, and I've caught other species on it too.I'm just catching bowfin for fun now. Cuz they are! I already reached my personal bowfin-on-fly goals...catching 1, then 100, and then finally catching 100 in one calendar year. Since I first started catching them last year, I've caught 154. I know nobody cares but me... but I'm very happy about that. There's always someone out there who catches more, right?
