Day 3 of fishing with my buddy visiting from Arkansas. He had a long drive home to look forward to, so we didn't fish all day, plus we chose to fish a spot nearly 2 hours north of my home.I caught a Longnose Gar, White Crappies, Black Crappies, Bluegills, and a Freshwater Drum.

Nice collection of fish. How come you didn't lip the Longnose Gar like you did the Crappie

Nice fish Dave. That Gar kind of looks like my hedge trimmer and could probably do a better job. Dennis

That'd be an interesting photo, right? HA! I've lipped toothy Walleye and Northern Pike. No plans to lip Bowfin nor Gar at this point.
