Thread: Cheap Cree? Hen Skin

    Default Cheap Cree? Hen Skin

    I picked up this Indian hen skin in the bargain bin _ cost $2.265
    Whether it can be called Cree or not, it is still a bargain. It is always worth while having a rummage in the bin.

    This is the March Brown flymph I tied

    A little bit of silk there I missed.

    Donald,

    That is very nice hackle Donald, worth ten times what you paid - pretty fly too. The trout won't mind the silk. ;?}

    Mikey that cree was also from a bargain bin cost ?1 alongside another handful of quality stuff. Almost as much in postage.

    The bargain bin is always worth tipping up to see what is in the bottom, but you better get there soon. With avian flu in the far east, imports are off.
    Those greenwells and coch-y bondhu may go missing for a few years.

    It is not a true cree but I do like the colors for that fly.
