Trumpet Mouth Poppers

Another popper pattern that I have been making this year for topwater fishing is what I call Trumpet Mouth Poppers. I carve the bodies out of balsa wood, insert the hook, color them with markers and sparkly nail polish, and add 3D eyes and a coat of two-part epoxy. When I remove them from the drying wheel, I add the dressing for the tails and they're ready to go.
