This is the Articulate Wiggle Leech I use for big bass. I've included some photos of the steps along the way to show the tying process. I use stiff wire that I wrap to make the connector. With the wire tied in place, I bend it over and wrap it completely before giving it a coat of UV Epoxy to lock everything in place. I put the small piece of plastic tubing on the trailer hook point to keep me from scenting the fly with my blood. I used Black Arctic Fox fur for the entire pattern because it is very durable and gives so much action in the water. The Fly Lips cause the fly to wobble like a crankbait on the retrieve. With the trailer, this pattern has great action in the water. It's only 3.5" long so it casts just fine with my 9ft 7wt bass rod.
