I note the great continuing interest in the OTT Lite. I don't own one but have any of you folks ever tried a DAZOR #2324. They are the models I used in our labs and really like them. Sure. the desk model goes for $300 but you can pick your light color from the readily available assortment in local hardware stores. (Two F15T8 18" long, cool running, 15 watt fluorescent lamps) The biggest plus is that with the large "area source" of light there is almost no shadow. Since retiring, 20 years ago, I've continued to use one with only lamps needing replacement every couple years.
