    Nice:
    Fly Fishing Bobs Creek Pennsylvania

Bobs Creek is a small freestone stream that has a good population of wild brown trout and native brook trout but is also stocked by the state. Fly fishing Bobs Creek can be excellent at times.

The upper section of Bobs Creek is heavily canopied with tree limbs in all but about a two mile long section that runs through a pasture. It stays cool through the summer months in most areas.
Below Pavia, the stream increase in size from about a fifteen foot average to more than forty foot average width. The pH is also better in the lower section and there’s more food available. It is exposed much more to the sun and it does tend to get warm during the hot
    summer.

This stream has a good supply of aquatic insects, especially in the lower section. There are several species of mayflies, some caddisflies and even some stoneflies. There are even a few Green Drakes.

Mine was Big and Little Virginia Lakes, and Trumbull Lake in the eastern Sierras until COPD stopped me from enjoying high elevations.
    Happy belated birthday, Steve. Jim.

A particular spot on the St. Joe River, Idaho. 110 miles from my driveway.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

I'm easy. Put me in a drift boat on a river in eastern WA or western MT and that is when I can really be at peace.

I'm easier yet. Put me on my favorite bluegill pond about 20 miles from my house with my 2, 3, & 4wt flyrods, poppers, sponge spiders, wooly worms & red butt ants. We haven't fished there yet without getting at least 2 'gills 10" to 11". For monster 'gills, the middle pond (there are 3) is the best I've ever fished.
For this ol' Ohio guy, that's Heaven!

Those Bluegills and Crappie fight like crazy sometimes, and that fillet of white meat is so sweet and delicious.
