Wow...I think I've become more of a fair-weather fisherman than I used to be. This weekend I happened to be near a lake that has muskies, and thought I'd drop by and give it a shot. But, it was below freezing and windy, so I didn't go! Drove 3.5 hours home, and then went fishing for colorful fish, since it was in the low 40's, still breezy. The fish played along pretty well, I caught 18 Koi and 6 Goldfish. Had a person that happened to be watching me offer to take some pictures of me with a couple of the fish, and at one point there was a small group gathered watching me, and they let out a big cheer when I netted one gorgeous fish. Funny. Such can be urban fishing, I suppose.
