    I see a serious problem with this fly.

    The problem is: there ISN’T a dozen of them in my fly box.

    Very nicely done Scott. Do you wrap the red over your peacock here or do you cut and retie the herl? I've tried both ways and find cut and really don't know which I prefer. Your red section is very smooth, unlike mine.

    Thanks. I don’t cut the herl, just let it hang and wrap the UniStretch over it to create the center band, then continue with the peacock.
