    I used Davie McPhail’s version as reference.

    hook - WFC Model 28 #12
    thread - Uni 6/0 tan
    body - Ice Dub hare’s ear
    wing/head - deer hair

    Very tasty looking Scott. Looks like you spun the muddled like head and trimmed the wing out?

    Thanks, Cliff. I tied the wing in, pinched tight to the top of the hook while I wrapped thru the butts, swept them back, spun another clump of deer hair in front, then trimmed the head to shape. Go to 3:54 on the video link and you can see the sequence.
