    hook - WFC Model 3 #16
    thread - Danville 6/0 tobacco brown, Orvis 8/0 primrose
    tail - Antron brown over lemon woodduck
    rib - xsmall wire copper
    body - tying thread
    thorax - Superfine dubbing pmd
    hackle - hen light dun

    Nice pattern. I would have tried it on the Bighorn last week. Blanket hatch that lasted for several hours each day.

    Thanks. How was the smoke over there? It’s been pretty bad in the Flathead but it looks like we’ve got a few days of rain ahead which might help slow down the fires.

    Scott,
    Smoke was not too bad on the Bighorn while we were there, but it has been quite bad here in Livingston since I got home on Saturday evening. The air quality report for the entire state is hazardous at the moment. Cold front is scheduled to move in later today and cooler and wetter conditions are forecast to continue through the weekend.

    The smoke here has been replaced by clouds and a steady rain; looks like it’s headed your way tomorrow.
