While developing a new fly - a very big one at that, I was taking a few photos of them and found Angel to be well positioned to give me a hand showing it off

This fly is just over 10 inches long and is essentially hollow. For now I am calling it a "Flathead Fatfish" and it is a saltwater baitfish imitation.

Construction: 8/0 Hook, Yak hair and synthetic flash material bunches are laced around the periphery of a foam disk. This technique allows this fly to have a huge profile, yet remain ultra-lightweight and maintain castablility. This fly is designed to be worked behind a popper head. However, it just may work OK all by itself too. Three of these have been sent out to a guide for offshore testing.
