    Thread - Gray
    Tail - Greenish gray cock ring neck pheasant rump feather fibers
    Body - Dubbed muskrat, beaver and olive synthetic fur mixed in equal parts
    Legs - Greenish gray cock ring neck pheasant rump feather fibers
    Wing case - Mottled brown cock ring neck body feather tied in at the head and extending over 1/3 of body

    Not only do I like the flies you all show us, but I also like the way you picture them afterward. I know there was a post describing the methods used a long time ago. But can you update us on the current way using more modern equipment and methods if so?

    i use a long lost technique of "hand blending" two different color dubbings
