    Default Parnelli

Does anyone remember Parnelli? He hosted one of the chat rooms. One of the pictures I took at an Idaho Fish-In popped up and Parnelli was in it. I sold him a float tube at that Fish-In and used the money to buy a Gatti Fly Rod. I was just wondering if anyone has had contact with him, or if he is still alive.

There aren't too many old timers on here I don't remember, except when my CRS kicks in. Vickie and I are living in Maine, learning a whole new way of fly fishing. We've been here almost 3 years. Moved from WA state to be near the kids and grandson. About 7 years ago I spent the entire summer working at Jim Slattery's fly shop at the Campfire Resort and Lodge along the Madison River between Hebgen and Quake Lakes. Best summer ever! I'm presently waiting on the VA to approve my cataract surgery. I'm legally blind, which makes it really hard to dress a fly or even tie one on a tippet. We're still trying to get out though. Good thing VEE fishes, she can tie on my flies and guide me along.

    Hey Ron,
It's GREAT to see you've re-emerged and are now posting again. Just like the good ole days. Your move from WA to ME had
to include some kinda major culture shock. Thankfully you had your kids and grandson to mellow the blow
    Hey to VEE also.
