I have passed your message on to Jack.
Trouts don't live in ugly places.
A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
Jack is president of the North Idaho Fly Casters, one of the clubs I belong to. He is a busy man.

He always had something going on, anything to keep him out if trouble.
Hey BR-549, I'm glad to see you active on the bulletin board. Several years ago I was able to work in a trip to the Elk River and catch the only live brook trout I have ever seen. I have been wanting to get back up there ever since but everyone is gone that I had a connection with. Now one of my best friends for almost 50 years is talking about moving to the Signal Mountain area and I remember the Duck has become a warm water stream with smallmouth bass in it, so I may need some advice and a contact in the area. You can see where I'm going with this, right?
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
Its fun to be back and do some catching up, work keeps me way to busy, to the point I have very little time to fish (sad life), probably Been 2 years since being on the Elk and then it was just below the dam for maybe an hour, I honestly couldn't be of any help to you, wish I could put you onto some big'uns but wouldn't know where to start at this point.
Since we drive to Florida near Christmas, we pass the Duck and Elk rivers watershed road signs and the road to Tullahoma ( former home of Warren and Jack) along I24. Needless to say, in memory of Warren (rip) and Jack ( not rip) I'm tempted to stop and verify their claims. BUT, the lure of sun and umbrellad cocktails overpowers the temptation and we hustle on down the road to Florida. Maybe on the way back.........
