hook - WFC Model 6 #6
thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - calftail white
rib - small wire gold
body - medium tinsel gold
throat - calftail orange
wing - FTD Northern Lights gold/brown

Asking from the viewpoint of a guy who grew up where there are no trout and mostly still water. Would marabou not give a more life like appearance to the fly in water rather than the calf or bucktail hair? It is beautifully tied, as always Scott.

Thanks. Marabou does have a lot of movement but sometimes I find it has a bit too much and fouls the hook.

Forgot to mention that the original fly I linked to had tail and throat of dyed arctic fox which is softer than the calftail; I’d also think about something like rabbit fur (from Zonker strips).
