    Default Bird's Copper Sedge










    Steven Bird's site is a great source for some cool patterns; this one?s pretty basic, but pretty nonetheless.


    hook - BVFT Dry #10
    thread - Danville 6/0 brown
    rib - small wire silver
    body - tinsel copper
    thorax - dubbing hare?s ear/pink
    hackle - partridge

    Beautiful partridge and orange variation! I tie hundreds of the ordinary every year and use them a lot, but I think you just changed the look of my fly box! Copper is becoming far more common in my boxes anyway. Thank you.
