Hey Jim,
Hopefully your sale is for no reason other than a need to clean house. I too should consider a sale of my stuff. My ambition to tie came in fourth place against my ability to do so. I did send all to my friend in Cali who also had "ambition" but, like I, between available time and talent, decided to send all back to me. I am closer to the end than the beginning but with the time ? remaining I CAN tie a Copper John and a few two step creations that "they've" eaten in the past.
In any case, I hope your EBAY sale goes well.
Mark

Thank you Mark. Mainly, COPD is exasperated by the fur, hair, feather and other dust particles in the air when tying flies. Also arthritis and shoulder problems don't help. Cleaning out the fly fishing room has been an experience. I've given 2 pontoons and 2 fat cat tubes to grandkids. A bunch of fly rods, reels, line and flies have gone to those who want them. No one wanted the tying stuff so selling it.
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim
It didn't even get a bid. Evidently I have to act like I don't care if I give it away.
Now, I'm trying to talk my nephew into taking it all. I know. that's giving it away but at least to someone I like.

Well Jim if thats the case , I'm a some-kinda likable guy

If you need to re home all this stuff, I sold a bunch for a friend on Facebook and then donated a truck load, literally the bed of my Tacoma, to Project Healing Waters. Other organizations like the Scouts, local TU chapters or fishing clubs might be able to use them.
My 5 cents,
Mike
Thank you Mike. My wife just got rid of a truckload of teaching materials. I don't have anywhere near a truckload of fly tying stuff. More like three drawers full. I like your idea of scouting or Healing waters. The problem now is no one is meeting because of COVID-19.I'll just sit on it if my nephew doesn't want it. Jim
