Like all the pictures but you answered the question.

How about a small bass? Caught this one last year
Micro-bass.jpg
What species is that first trout?
Very pretty fish. The parr stripes confused me.
Looks like the Wunder fly worked again! Nice pictures!

I haven't been able to confirm this...but I know this stream hasn't been stocked in many many years. And other such streams in MO were stocked with McCloud strain Rainbow Trout way back then. So, its possible that is what this is. I've seen pictures of McCloud strain Rainbows, and they look like these to me....but I don't know if there is a way to tell them apart just by looking at them. Anybody else know?

I don't know the answer to your question Dave, But I DO know that your first fish is so stunning with ALL it's fins and the perfect sail for the dorsal. Something impossible to produce in a concrete raceway.

I think the only way to tell what strain of rainbow is do a DNA test and have an unveiling of the results on Jerry Springer to find out who the real baby daddy is.
Thanks for sharing the photos. And I thought I was the only one who caught fish that small.
Sometime the fly is bigger than the fish...
