    Default St Louis Bass

I haven't really targeted bass much here yet....I have no idea where the bigger fish might be yet...unlike my old Iowa stomping grounds.
But...I decided to pursue bass today.
The first bunch of lakes I went to, based on tips from a local friend, were posted "private, for subdivision residents only"...so...I didn't get out of the car. I then drove another 1/2 hour to overfished public lakes. Caught some bass at both lakes I fished. Nothing over maybe 14". Also, bluegills, and green sunfish. Saw redears that tasted the flies, but didn't hook any.

Glad you are finding more places. Nice picture of the butter fly.
