    Stranded copper wire salvaged from some old electronic device that was dyed blue. Rib is metallic embroidery thread; shellback and legs tail feather from a Toucan in Savannah.

    I like it. I have found blue to be a surprizingly effective color, especially for trout. Nice job!

    It was just wrapped in a recycled plastic envelope to go to south Mississippi where it will be used to tempt warm warm species in Red Creek. My friend, who will be receiving the box of flies I prepared for him, recently told me there weren't any snakes in Red Creek anymore. The alligators ate them. I'm not sure that's an improvement, although most alligators are anti-social, cottonmouths will come to visit you.
