To those who knew or heard of Tony Spezio he passed away last weekend
If you heard of the Chilepepper that was his fly and bamboo fly rods.

Tony was a great help to many in the fly fishing arena.
Proud to be one of his man, many friends.

I knew Tony when he lived in NJ. He taught me a lot about fly tying and was always willing to share his patterns and show me how to tie them. I carry three types of woolly buggers in my fly boxes. Tony introduced me to two of them. The White River Demon which was one of his patterns and the Chili Pepper which was originated by his friend, Bob Root. I also have a soft spot in my heart for Tony's Froggie. He was a great guy and will be missed.
