Appreciate your continued posts Scott. High quality ties, photos and descriptions as usual.

I'm particularly liking your recent "hi-viz" posts. As I'm getting older, visibility of my dry flies is becoming increasingly significant. With trico season just a few weeks away, I need to trico box with a few of these recent ideas.

    John,

Thanks for the kind words. Like you, my eyes aren’t what they used to be. For small stuff like tricos and midge dries, I found that just a little bit of cerise/hot pink McFlyfoam on top made a big difference in visibility; much easier for me to pick out the fly among all the naturals and see if my cast is in the feeding lane.

    Regards,
    Scott
