Default 2020 Carp on Fly - Sightfishing

Our fishing was slow again in SE Nebraska due to the storms that came in. Here are a few videos of sight-fished carp where the take was caught on video. I do the videos mainly as a video journal for myself, especially during the winter months. I fish a creek system called Papillion Creek (Papio Creek), that runs from the northwest & west to south, that empties into the Missouri River. The majority of the fish that are caught are close to Offutt AFB. The preferred fly that the commons and sometimes grassies like are variations of San Juan worms, from no weight, to heavily weighted (3/16" tungsten bead, with .035 lead wrapped all the way to the bend of hook). Tight lines!
