Actually, when we lived in Miami in the early 70's there was one time that it got cold enough to snow (sort of). I happened to be out early enough that morning and when I looked up at the streetlight, you could see the occasional snowflake drifting down and some of them actually hit the ground but melted in just a few seconds.
