    Default Floatng Jig Head patterns

I thought I'd post a couple of flies I tied from the dyed Arctic Fox fur I posted about yesterday. These are tied on Mister Twister Floating Jig heads. They dive down 3" - 4" with a quick strip of the line retrieve and then slowing rise back up to the surface with the tail in the down position like a struggling fish. Four of them are tied to resemble Bluegill and the others I tied in black because I have such good luck with black in the lake I fish. The tails are the Arctic Fox fur and the bodies are dubbing brushes. I added a collar of dyed hackle to simulate gills.Floating J-Head minnows.JPG
