I was speaking with Reuel about different tying materials and techniques and he made a suggestion for me to try. I have tried pearl tinsel for the backs on Sow Bugs. It makes an interesting back, believe me. I had been using the Sow/Scud back and had a problem with it twisting. The pearl tinsel lays flat with no twist and the pearl gives off a great shimmer. Ya'll try it, you may be pleasantly surprised.
