Micro Jigs Inspired by James Smith
Pictured are flies designed by Jim and tied by me. I didn't do them much justice but I learned a lot about the materials and I'm sure my next batch will be better tied.
I used 1/80th size jig-heads tied on size 6 and 8 hooks. I mixed some of the white and red embroidery thread by combining a few strands of each color. I used thick viscosity Solarez, but it didn't come with a brush which would have helped greatly in shaping the bodies.
