As time passes there are more and more empty chairs around the table but those that have vacated them would not want us to stop living. It would not bring them joy to think their absence is a source of continuing sorrow. Count your blessings; you knew them, you loved them and they loved you. To love is to take a chance; perhaps it will be joy or sorrow but one will never know unless one is willing to take a chance. Gone, yes, forgotten, never but remembered, not with sorrow but with joy of having had them as part of our lives.
