Thread: Any recommdations for a good fish finder for an 8' inflatable toon?

    on a different site, a man mounted his transducer to a framework of pvc which he hung off the side of his kayak. somthing like this might work for your inflatable.

    Thank you Eric. I never thought about them that way. Opens up a lot of possibilities that way. I don't think the plethora of small hand helds...and hang around your neck stuff under $100 would work out for me. Fly fishibg with both hands being active....I want something just mounted on the inflatable. That transducer mount gives me a ton of ideas how to do ot.

    I have used, and liked, the Humminbird Fishin Buddy. It's powered with AA cell batteries so weight is not an issue.
