Dolly Varden Feeding Frenzy
I have always loved doing this and have been doing it for well over a half-century and have done it in the exact same spot many, many times. I taught my son how to do exactly the same thing back before he really knew what was going on. And watched him showing my granddaughter how to do exactly the same thing. Call me what ever you like, but it still makes me giggle doing it. My granddaughter did catch her first solo salmon last September. She is 3 1/2 years old now... the salmon was a coho, large for the species... she loved it!
