    Default Idaho Fish In

Anyone else planning on being in Lowell the last full week if September? I'll be at the campground with my camper.

David, 3 rivers. They have the campground open again. No water or power, but the shower house has been improved.

Neil, I have shared a lot of great memories there with LF, JC and AC. It is one of the reasons I keep going back.

    Z,
I went there for the Fish-In we had there in 2007 or 08. LF and JC were there for that one. Denny was also there and demonstrated dressing a cape. I only fished the Selway, and caught some fine fish there. I drove up to the ranger station and then walked up stream a couple of miles. Very remote! I di not fish the Locksa (Sp), but those who did had great luck. The resort was mostly functional then and the cabins were open, but not real comfortable. I would go there again if they reopened the cabins and the timing was right. The restaurant across the river was pretty good for breakfast at least. They also had a few cabins across the river at the time, but don't know about now. Highly recommend the fishing to everyone. Beautiful area!! If you go back give us a report on the area. Thanks

Unfortunately the IDFI dates always ( as also this year)) conflicted with our annual Jackson, Grand Teton, Y'Stone, friends get-together. I always did, however, compare notes, jokingly, with JC as to the quality (quantity) of fish caught . And, as in the above post, John mentioned Dennys' "demonstration" of processing a cape from squack/ screeeeech to ................ did not do anything to persuade my wife to attend. Denny did the same "demonstration" at a Delaware River Club PA Fish-In which my wife and I attended . She ( wife) never fogave him for that :>).

I will be close...going to Jacks and fishing the St Joe for a few days. Maybe I can persuade the ole boy to mosey over that way for a few days. Time will tell.
