    Default Iso Tie Instructions

I saw an Isonychia nymph tied with claret marabou. It looked more realistic than most I've seen, including white stripe on back. Does any one have tying instructions? thanks

    Fritz,

There is a pattern similar to what you describe on Fly Tyer magazine. Do you get Fly Tyer? It would be on an issue from the early 2000's. I can check for the exact issue once I'm at home.

Would appreciate your help. My issue is sequence with tying marabou (tail), abdomen, white stripe, and spiraling the stripe onto abdomen

Here is a video of an iso nymph similar to the one you describe. Perhaps you can use some the techniques shown to tie the one you described. I tie one similar to the one in the video and have had great luck with it.
