"Tactical" perhaps? Personally I mostly ignore the hype and just use the standard hooks for the majority of my nymphs, even when 'euro-nymphing'. When I need a jig hook, I tend to gravitate to either Umpqua's U555 or Allen's J100BL. YMMV.
