I haven't been on any forums in some time and am saddened to hear about Deanna. She, Jim, and Neil gave me a great opportunity to tie some flies and do some articles here and I'm forever grateful.

Apparently there is a Bibio fly here in the US, out West, specifically Henry's Fork, a fly of which I am completely ignorant. i know all about the European one, a Diptera, but was unaware we had a version here. If anyone can point me to a recipe somewhere for this fly I would very much appreciate it. It's not even listed among flies sold at Mike Lawson's shop, but has been important as I understand it in the last year or so. It's funny, the first thing that came to mind when I heard Diptera was the Cowdung I fished about 100 years ago. Literally. Thanks.
