    Default Wing type

What is the wing called when you tie the hackle around the parachute post and then pull the wing forward and tie down?

    Sounds like a Hacklestacker variation

Yes, Paraloop is what I call it, but I use the three thread loop method attached a gallows to hold the thread while I wrap. I love this method. However, without the upright post, you don't have a sighter to make it easier to see. I notice that Scott leaves a small extension of post material which I assume helps serve this purpose.

Thanks. Hackle stacker or paraloop. Scott, thanks for the SBS. I see you pulled the post back to dub in front and then pulled it forward to tie down and trim. Nlcely done

I do like the 3 loop method also. I had to hunt a little to find how. Gotta try both methods.

Normally, I use a single thread loop hooked onto a gallows to wrap the hackle, similar to Mr. Campbell, but in this case, just incorporated the post material into the process.

And to add to the nomenclature, it was also referred to as a "Pullover" by Ned Long. "Hacklestacker" was coined by Bob Quigley I believe, although he knew Ned so he must have done it to distinguish his technique, although the differences are minor. "Paraloop" is how Ian Moutter describes the style in his book, but I'd have to go back and see if he attributes that term to any one tier in particular.
