The winter was endless. Finally I am called to awaken from my long frigid slumber. The browns of fall and early spring are about to change. The warm spring winds tickle my branches and whisper to my sleeping leaves to come forth.

The greens of summer came with the birds and the buzzing bees. My branches sway in the summer's sultry winds. The world is vibrant and alive.

Fall's first breath changes my greens to browns. My branches are shedding my beautiful summer bonnet. It all happened much too quickly.

Winter comes in like a lion. The large snow flakes pummel my branches. The world is white and cold. In a blink of an eye things change.
