    Default Nicholas' Coachman Parachute (variation)







    Variation on Jay Nicholas' old-school Metolius pattern; lacking red dyed peacock I put some bleached herl to use. Check out his vid for the tying sequence; enjoy the cat.


    hook - TMC 5212 #12
    thread - Danville 6/0 orange
    tail - calftail white
    rib - xsmall wire gold
    abdomen - peacock herl bleached
    wing - calftail white
    hackle - ginger/grizzly
    head - tying thread

    That was a great Vid. And, a very affectionate and well-behaved cat. The cats I used to live with would have been all over the feathers, and probably the bobbin as well.
