    Default Blue Doctor




    blue doctor

    hook - salmon style
    thread - white for the body; red for the head
    tag - oval silver tinsel and fluorescent red antron, wool, floss, uni-stretch etc
    tail - golden pheasant crest
    ribbing - silver oval tinsel
    body - blue floss or uni-stretch
    throat blue hackle
    wing - gray squirrel

    reference - hairwing & tube flies for salmon & steelhead - chriss mann
