Default Rumors of my move to Wisconsin have been greatly exaggerated...

Back in February, my fiance (now wife) Jani took a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Our initial plan was to give the upper Midwest three years.

She hated the Midwest. Hated, hated, hated it. No mountains. She's an Idaho girl and couldn't get used to the flatness or the crowds.

Today she accepted a position as a software Quality Assurance Engineer with a tech company in Livingston, our dream location ever since we got serious. There is definitely a scenery tax in terms of pay, but she is still going to be making more than we ever did combined before this year, so I think we'll manage.

Long story short, I ain't leaving Montana.

A person should either lover where they live or love what they do. If you dislike both each day is an eternity. Congratulations on finding a way to live in your dream location.
