Thread: Hip boots?

    Default Hip boots?

Any suggestions on a good source of quality hip boots? Previously my various pairs of hip boots have had snaps/laces at the calf as well as the belt connection. Waders I'm finding (and the pair I purchased) lack the calf snaps/laces. Wading through oat meal consistency muck works better for me with the older style. Any suggestions?

I hear ya! I liked the older style better, too - for exactly the same reason. I'll be interested in the replies, too.

After researching hip boots I settled on Chota Hippies. They should arrive today. I will keep you posted.

I love the Chota Hippies. The one drawback is that they are thinner than I thought. I wouldn't want to bushwhack wearing them, though they are light enough to put in a backpack.
