    Default Looking for C&F boxes

    Hi,
After long thoughts with myself, I've decided that I really like the C&F box with slotted foam, the ones with the foam strips and you back the fly in. So, anyone have some they might want to sell or trade? I've got some other boxes, tools etc that might be worth your while.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I assume you've considered slotted silicone too? Like yourself, I've "toyed with" with several of the materials out there. IMHO, silicone rates highest since they don't deteriorate as fast as foam and flies stay put even when the box is dropped. I particularly like the brand that has magnetic cover catches instead of hinged latches. Best wishes

No actually I haven't. Any suggestions on particular brands? I'm not familiar with that type. What kind, may I ask, do you prefer?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I have boxes made by "Tacky". They come in several sizes and depths for dry flies and nymphs/wet flies. Don't know about a box sized for streamers. The majority of my fishing is tight line nymphing. There are other brands and knock-offs but I haven't seen them with magnetic catches. Good luck.

Check “the auction site”. They have about any kind of fly box you want. You can sort on lowest price + shipping and work your way through them.
