new tricks to old dogs
For the longest time I hated to sweep the hackle back with the first three fingers when finishing the head. My middle finger would feel like a pin cushion. Yesterday I inexplicably finished the tie with the hook in the up position in my rotary vise. Because I could see the hook, I avoided sticking my finger. WHAT A REVELATION!
