Default Flies from Bob Jacklin of West Yellowstone

My son and I are big fans of Bob Jacklin of West Yellowstone

Bob has long had a fly shop there and has a HUGE selection of flies - many tied by himself.

Received these beauties over the holidays from Bob.

He has been offering free casting lessons on Sunday evenings in the park (in towm) for many years. Great guy and fun to talk to. Knows so much and so much history of the area.

    He still guides!!

Bob is a great guy... fun to talk with and willing to help you with any tying or fishing problem you may have. I stop in and visit every time I'm in town... A true Hall of Fame fisherman and gentlemen.

I did not know he gave lessons in the park I knew for many years he gave them right across the street from his shop next to the police station
there is a casting pond and grass area. This is the area he was at when my Son and I attended.
It would not surprise me he was offering them at the park as well , I assume your talking the city park across from Blue Ribbons shop.
No matter .... brings up fond memories , thanks for the post Byron, those sure are some fine mementos of his hobby.

    Be safe.

Just because from the day we left his shop :
