Kind of a Hornberg variant from Guy Fiset (I think; my French is non-existent). Saw the double flank feather wing on a video; makes for a nice cloaking effect. The golden pheasant tippet hackle is interesting.

hook - Mustad 79580 #6
thread - Danville 6/0 black
body - tinsel silver
underunderwing - calftail yellow
underwing - mallard flank
wing - teal flank
hackle - golden pheasant tippets


mash barb, start thread, tie in tinsel; wrap to bend and back, tie off/trim






even tips on a clump of calftail, measure (tips just past bend, trim to length (dose with Sally), tie in






measure (gap width past bend) a mallard flank; tie in, let it encircle the body






repeat with teal flank; trim
